This October, the Engineering Council will be joined by the Science Council and Society for the Environment (SocEnv) for a first-ever collaborative webinar examining the value of professional registration across engineering, science and environmental practice.

The Engineering Council and the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec) have announced that CIISec has become the first body dedicated to cyber security to be licensed by the Engineering Council to assess candidates for professional registration.

The Engineering Council and the Royal Academy of Engineering chose Chartered Week (23–27 February) to publish an update of their joint Statement on Ethical Principles for the engineering profession, first published over 20 years ago.
