Professional registration with the Engineering Council is an internationally-recognised mark of quality. It demonstrates to employers, clients and the whole of society that you have achieved the standard of competence and commitment established by the engineering profession.
To achieve registration each individual’s competence and commitment is independently and thoroughly assessed through peer review. Academic qualifications are not a requirement - professional registration is open to any competent, practising engineer or technician.
What matters is the standards you've reached, not the route you've taken.
