Guidance for PEI codes of conduct

As a requirement of professional registration as an CEng, IEng, EngTech or ICTTech, all registrants are expected to observe the requirements of the Code of Professional Conduct of the Licensed Professional Engineering Institution (PEI) they have joined.

This Code of Professional Conduct places a personal obligation on its members to act with integrity and in the public interest, in accordance with the Statement of Ethical Principles.

Each Licensed PEI will have appropriate disciplinary processes in place to address breaches of their Code of Professional Conduct.

The Engineering Council has published guidance for Licensed PEIs, which can be downloaded below.
