With three decades of dedication to higher education and academic leadership whilst delivering innovative project-based learning curricula across new providers, post 92 and Russell Group universities, Kay is committed to developing academic excellence, specialising in curriculum development, quality assurance, educational excellence, accreditation, and professional recognition. She is passionate about widening participation and access to higher education, initiatives to support diverse student cohorts, and equitable opportunities for success in engineering and design fields.
In parallel, she maintains strong relationships with professional bodies such as the IMechE, IED, and the Engineering Council, where she actively serves on boards and committees. Through these roles, Kay helps uphold educational standards and support engineers in advancing their careers through professional recognition and continued professional development.
