Garry Gilby IEng, CEnv, FSOE, FIPlantE, MIET

Garry is a member of the Society of Operations Engineers (SOE) and the Institution of Plant Engineers (IPlantE). He has sat on various committees throughout his membership including Chair of the IPlantE to President Elect of the SOE, serving as President of the SOE in 2011-2013. He has also served as an Elected Trustee of the SOE in recent years. He currently sits on the SOE’s Budget, Audit and Risk Management Committee (BARM), leading on the risk register. Garry is also a Director and Treasurer of Engineering, Maths, Science and Technology Association (EMSTA) formerly known as EESTA covering the East of England. Gary's professional career spans over 40 years in the transport industry, and he is registered as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) with the Engineering Council.
