Dr Rob Best CEng FIChemE

Rob Best has been a university academic for most of his career, retiring in 2011 as Dean for Engineering, Science and the Built Environment at London South Bank University. His chemical engineering career also included employment with British Gas, BOC and at other European universities. He remains closely involved in university education and chairs the accreditation committee of the Institution of Chemical Engineers.

Rob has served on Engineering Council’s Registration Standards Committee and Quality Assurance Committee. In becoming a Trustee, he looks forward to continue contributing his experience to the enhancement and maintenance of engineering professional standards.
