Chartered Engineer announced as new Chief Executive of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management

The Engineering Council would like to congratulate Pete Sellars CEng FIHEEM on his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of The Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM)

Pete is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with 40 years’ experience, who was President of IHEMM from 2016-2018 and has worked across the Department of Health and NHS. His career has included leading the development and introduction of numerous programs at national, strategic and operational levels.

He is professionally qualified in Healthcare Facilities Management, Programme and Project leadership, and is an accredited Government & NHS Gateway Reviewer as well as a Trustee of the Carbon Energy Fund.
