Volunteer at The Big Bang Fair

Volunteer with us at the Big Bang Fair'The Big Bang Fair, the UK’s biggest celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) for young people, is seeking volunteers to help inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists. Over 30,000 young people are expected at the event – billed as the STEM event of the year. The Big Bang Fair couldn't run without enthusiastic and expert volunteers – just like you.

The Big Bang Fair brings science and engineering to life. It has been designed specifically with 11 to 14 year olds in mind, to provide the best careers inspiration, advice and opportunities to meet with real scientists and engineers. After last year’s Big Bang Digital, the fair is returning in person from Wednesday 22 to Friday 24 June 2022 at The NEC in Birmingham.

Volunteers are being asked to commit one, two or three days, and there are a variety of roles available:
