A Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) consultation on the Engineering Subject Benchmark Statement closed on 2 November and a response was submitted by the National Engineering Policy Centre (NEPC). 

We are pleased to see that the Subject Benchmark Statement will continue to make reference to the Accreditation of Higher Education Programmes (AHEP) and expect that revisions will include an increased emphasis on some of the topics emphasised in AHEP 4.0, such as diversity and sustainability.
