The Engineering Council is pleased to announce the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES), Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE), the Institute of Explosives Engineers (IExpE) and INCOSE UK Ltd receiving approval to become Licensed Members of the Engineering Council and assess their members for professional registration. These institutions have previously held Professional Affiliate status.

The Engineering Council is also pleased to announce The Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators (ITAI) receiving approval to become a Professional Affiliate.

Engineering Council CEO Alasdair Coates said “The Engineering Council’s vision is to maintain society’s confidence and trust in the engineering profession. We achieve this through working with partners across the professional engineering community and are pleased to see these three institutions achieving the standards expected of a Licensed Member and ITAI becoming associated with the Engineering Council, offering a route to professional engineering registration titles for its members”.
