Welcome to new Engineering Council Trustees

The Engineering Council would like to welcome the four new Trustees who formally joined the Board at our 10 June AGM. They are (left to right):
Emer Murnaghan OBE: "She is passionate about an industry and profession that exists to serve the fundamental needs of society."
Alastair Revell: "Alastair is passionate about chartered professionalism within IT and is keen to drive progress on digital innovation and to promote professional standards in software engineering, which increasingly underpins much of modern society."
Andrew Rowe: “Andrew is excited to join the Engineering Council board and is especially interested in helping raise the status of engineers in society and help promote learning and development.”
Jim Shields: “Jim was instrumental in the Register of Ground Engineering Professionals (RoGEP) expanding to allow Engineering Technicians (EngTech) and Incorporated Engineers (IEng) to join the Register."
The Engineering Council would also like to thank those Trustees leaving the Board (George Adams, Bill Hewlett and Professor Kevin Jones) for their hard work and contribution to the engineering profession.
