Big Bang Fair, 11-14 March

Applications are currently open for STEM professionals interested in volunteering at the Fair to help inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. 86% of teachers agreed that The Big Bang Fair increased students' interest in engineering. A further 68% of teachers agreed that The Big Bang Fair increased students' likelihood of taking up STEM subjects at GCSE.
100 volunteers each day are needed to support the smooth running of The Big Bang Fair and to ensure that visitors have an inspiring experience. With almost 80,000 visitors over 4 days in 2018, The Big Bang Fair simply couldn’t run without the support of these amazing volunteers.
Volunteering opportunities across 1 to 4 days range from leading volunteer teams and delivering hands-on activities, to sharing careers inspiration and judging student projects. Over 95% of volunteers say they would recommend volunteering with The Big Bang Fair to a friend or colleague.
