The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) is now accepting entries for the CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2025.

The CIBSE Building Performance Awards (BPAs) honour the people, products and projects that demonstrate engineering excellence in the built environment and are open to organisations and individuals in the UK and worldwide. These awards recognise those involved in the design, commissioning, construction, installation, and operation of low-energy, high-performance buildings, as well as manufacturers whose products enhance energy efficiency or other building performance outcomes.

The BPAs cover a range of categories, from Engineer of the Year to Collaboration and Learning and Development to Best Digital Innovation. There are two new categories for 2025: Client of the Year and Leadership.

The Client of the Year Award is in recognition of This award acknowledges and applauds clients for enhancing overall performance and fostering collaboration among consultants and supply chains, focusing on user satisfaction, energy efficiency, carbon reduction, health, and well-being.

The Leadership Award recognises and celebrates individuals, organisations or initiatives which have demonstrated leadership and impact on climate action, ie climate mitigation and the route to net zero, and climate adaptation.

The closing date for entries is 30 August 2024.

The awards ceremony will be held at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London, on Thursday, 27 February 2025.
