Karen Sikka joined the Engineering Council in November 2017 as an Accreditation and Higher Education Executive. Karen has had various roles within higher education, but her most recent role was at a charity, where she was involved in project support, trusts and grants fundraising. 

At the Engineering Council, Karen will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Engineering Accreditation Board (EAB). This includes planning, organising and providing the secretariat for EAB meetings. Karen will also be supporting the department in implementing the organisation’s wider higher education related activities.
