Apply for the Young Women of the Year Awards

Published: 05/04/2017

The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) is looking for inspiring young female engineers to apply for the Young Woman Engineer of the Year Awards. The annual awards, which are in their 40th year and open to non-members of the Institution, celebrate the best young women engineers in the UK across three prizes; Young Woman Engineer of the Year Award, Mary George Memorial Prize for Apprentices and Women’s Engineering Society (WES) Prize.

The three prizes will be awarded at a national ceremony in London in December and winners will be invited to participate in high profile events throughout the year offering networking opportunities and raising their profiles within the engineering industry.

Applications must be completed by the person applying, accompanied by a nominator form, and submitted by 7 July 2017. Applicants must currently work in the UK and be between 18 and 35 years old.

For more information about the three awards, entry criteria and how to apply, please visit conferences.theiet.org/ywe/
