The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) has opened nominations for the 2025 Prestige Awards.
These well-established industry awards celebrate the outstanding contributions and innovation of those working across industry, research and academia who have advanced the field of mechanical engineering, recognising individuals and teams who have demonstrated excellence, creativity, and impact.
The Prestige Awards open to all include:
- The James Watt International Gold Medal: Recognises an eminent engineer who has attained worldwide recognition in mechanical engineering, whether in science, research, invention, or production.
- The Thomas Hawksley Gold Medal & George Stephenson Gold Medal: Awarded for the best original
papers published by the Institution during the past 12 months.
Applications close on 30 April 2025.
