Published: 03/04/2024

The Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) Global Awards 2024 are now open for entries.

This year marks the 30th year of celebrating outstanding professional achievement.

The awards are open to both IChemE members and non-members around the world and are free to enter.  Celebrating talent and innovation from individuals, projects, and organisations across various sectors, the Global Awards attracts a wide range of submissions.

One of the newly introduced categories is the Biopharma Award, which will acknowledge outstanding projects, processes, or products showcasing excellence in the utilisation of biochemical and/or pharmaceutical engineering. A second addition is the Renewable Energy Award, to be granted to a project demonstrating excellence in the advancement and utilization of renewable energy generation and storage within the chemical and process industries. Last, but not least, the Innovative Process Award will honour the most notable process innovation stemming from the chemical and process industries implemented within the past four years.

Entries close on 5 July 2024 and the winners will be announced at the IChemE Global Awards Dinner on 28 November.
