CABE announces the winners of the Built Environment Awards 2024

The Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE) Built Environment Awards ceremony took place on Friday 9 February at the prestigious Grand Hotel Birmingham.

The CABE Awards pay tribute to individuals and organisations who have made a meaningful and impressive contribution to the construction industry.

These accolades celebrate progress and innovation within the built environment. Identifying as a marker of industry standards, they highlight the finest professionals, projects and teams shaping the course of the construction sector.

CABE acknowledges those who demonstrate their continued competence, innovation, and skills across a range of categories, which include Project, Organisation and Individual Awards.

Among the categories of Project Awards presented were Building Safety, Carbon Reduction Impact, New Build and Sustainability. The Organisation Award category included recognition for New Product Technology.

Congratulations extend to all the award winners, including recipients of the Individual Awards:

  • Young Building Engineer of the Year:
    Tang Kai Yiu Raymond, Project Manager, CR Construction Company
  • Apprentice of the Year:
    Adam Griffin, Assistant Building Control Surveyor, Assent
  • Building Engineer of the Year:
    David Humphreys, Director, ACP Architectural Conservation Professionals
