The University College London Centre for Engineering Education is examining the role of professional bodies as the engineering industry moves into the digital era.
In a free evening event on 21 February, two speakers will explore whether the professional engineering institutions and other bodies that support professional development are connecting with young people entering the industry, and what the new role of professional bodies is within engineering education.
Speakers include Phil Davis, Director of Technical Learning and Development at Atkins, who will be giving the industry take on the topic, and Jon Prichard, Chief Executive of The Institution of Chemical Engineers, who will share his view from the professional bodies’ side.
The event will run from 6pm to 8pm at University College London in Gower Street. For more information and to book a free place, please click on the link to the Eventbrite page
