Take part in culture of engineering survey

Published: 10/01/2017

The Royal Academy of Engineering is conducting a survey of engineers and engineering employers in the UK. The survey is seeking to better understand the culture of engineering, including the following questions:

  • How do people currently working in engineering perceive the culture?
  • How inclusive is the culture of engineering currently?
  • How can the sector create a more inclusive culture for the future?

The survey is part of a wider project on diversity and inclusion and will provide useful insight into the sector and how close it is to achieving the vision of a culture where all engineers thrive, and what it needs to do to further to get there. For more information about the survey, which will be live until 27 January, and to take part, please go to http://www.raeng.org.uk/inclusivecultures. An analysis of the anonymous responses will be used to inform a sector report and recommendations, which will be published in the second quarter of 2017.
