The Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3), has launched a new website and visual identity, including a new logo, which can be found at the same web address: www.iom3.org
This is the culmination of a major digital transformation project by the institution, which over the course of 15 months has included a new website, portal, and customer relationship management (CRM) system. These new systems bring together all the institution’s administrative systems in one place, enabling a more customised service for IOM3 members. Additional content and functionality will be coming over the next few months.
The branding refresh was designed to emphasise the institution’s core values of being forward looking, dynamic, mindful, environmentally conscious, innovative and global. The logo and visual identity use different shapes to represent the institution’s history, including the eclectic mix of people and ideas, and the mergers of different bodies that have come to form the IOM3 of today.
IOM3 President Professor Serena Best CBE FREng CEng FIMMM said:
“I am delighted with the refreshment of the IOM3 visual identity - this modernisation of our image has been developed with wide consultation across the membership. The new visual identity represents an important development for our whole membership and comes alongside the successful delivery of the new IT platform which will enhance engagement with our global community.”
