SOE logoEntitled ‘The Connected World’, the Symposium is an interactive full day event which will explore the next stage of developments in data management for maintenance and operations engineering.

SOE CEO Bruce McGill said: “This event will challenge your preconceptions of what connectivity means and how it can be used. For engineers responsible for inspection, maintenance and management in a multitude of industry sectors, it is an essential CPD event that cannot be missed.”

The day will include presentations and discussions with dedicated streams for:

New SOE President Mick Sweetmore will open the session.

In the afternoon, a panel discussion on professional registration will be moderated by Paul Bailey, Engineering Council Deputy Chief Executive, with participants including Engineering Council Trustee Steve Catte CEnv IEng HonFSOE and Chartered Engineer Tony Robinson CEng MSOE.

Further panel discussions will follow the streamed sessions featuring, amongst others, Society for the Environment CEO Emma Wilcox, before a closing keynote will bring the curtain down on the first SOE Symposium.
