The Engineering Council hosted its first ever Summer Networking Reception on 22 May at the Institution of Engineering and Technology, Savoy Place in London.

The reception was an opportunity for operational staff at professional engineering institutions (PEIs) to connect, share insights and ideas, and develop productive working relationships in an informal environment. Almost all PEIs were represented, and feedback was very positive with many attendees calling for other similar events to be held in the future. 

Through hosting events like this, the Engineering Council’s aim is to facilitate strong links within the engineering community to support professional registration and uphold excellence within the profession.
