The 2024 Women's Engineering Society (WES) Lottie Tour is now underway. The campaign is taking the ‘Lottie’ doll to various locations, where she is accompanied by different engineering professionals who demonstrate their work in engineering and related fields. Every year, engineering professionals are invited to "borrow" Lottie and share their experiences on social media using #WESLottieTour.

Lottie has sparked the imagination of hundreds across the UK and beyond, travelling to numerous countries, including the USA, Malawi and even Antarctica.

This year will mark the ninth WES Lottie Tour, highlighting the wide range of exciting opportunities in engineering careers. Lottie will be showcased throughout the year, with a special focus during Tomorrow's Engineers Week in November 2024.

The WES Lottie Tour was developed by the Women's Engineering Society Early Careers Board (WES ECB) in partnership with Arklu, the creators of Lottie. The ECB consists of young women volunteers working and studying in engineering who are passionate about promoting the diverse careers available in their field.

The campaign is aimed at various audiences, primarily to inspire and encourage young girls (and boys) to consider careers in engineering and STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), promoting these pathways as accessible to everyone. It reaches younger audiences by engaging parents and educators through the Lottie Tour.
