The Engineering Council has updated its Covid 19: Information for HE Providers This can be found under the heading ‘useful documents’ on both the Engineering Council webpage Information for HE providers and the EAB page  Key changes include:

• clarification that whilst the Engineering Council is not prescriptive regarding mode of delivery or assessment, some practices that were introduced in an emergency may not be accepted by professional engineering institutions (PEIs) in future
• confirmation that the period during which PEIs have the option to consider conducting virtual accreditation visits, on a risk-based case-by-case basis, has been extended to include 2022.
