Survey seeks input on the impact of Brexit on engineering

Survey seeks input on the impact of Brexit on engineering

Published: 15/09/2016

The Engineering the Future (EtF) policy group, an alliance of professional engineering organisations, has put together a survey as part of its continuing work on behalf of the engineering community to look at the impact that Brexit will have on engineering in the UK.

The survey is aimed at people working in engineering or related industries and is not restricted to engineers. It should take no longer than ten minutes to complete. The survey closes at midnight on Monday 19 September and EtF is looking for as many people as possible to fill in the survey before this time.

The survey can be found by following this link:

The engineering profession’s response to the EU referendum is being coordinated through the EtF policy group. The EtF represents 450,000 professional engineers and allows the engineering profession to speak with one voice on engineering issues of national and international importance. It provides independent and expert engineering advice to government. It promotes understanding of the critical contribution that engineering makes to national policy and to addressing the grand challenges.

EtF membership comprises the UK’s 35 engineering institutions plus EngineeringUK, the Engineering Council and the Royal Academy of Engineering. More information on EtF is available here
