Sector Skills Council Contacts

Sector Skills Councils (SSCs) are employer-led UK wide organisations. SSCs are licensed by the Secretary of State for Education and Skills, in consultation with Ministers in Scotland , Wales and Northern Ireland , to tackle the skills and productivity needs of their sector throughout the UK .

SSCs offer a wide range of services including information about training opportunities and about jobs in their sectors. Many Sector (Skills Councils are involved with engineering & technology. )
