Welcoming Technicians

Creative, responsible, skilled technicians are in demand.

The UK engineering profession is keen to enrol them.
ECUK registration assures their professional standing.

Engineering Technician (EngTech)

There is high and growing demand in a wide range of engineering-related fields for registered Engineering Technicians.

Registered Engineering Technicians (EngTechs) are usually well paid, are vital and highly valued members of engineering teams, and enjoy secure futures with many opportunities for professional development.

EngTech is a valuable, portable, internationally recognised award. You use EngTech after your name, so your professionalism stands out.

EngTech is protected by the Engineering Council's Royal Charter so EngTech can only be used by registered technicians.

Anyone of any age working in an engineering or construction field with knowledge and understanding of technical matters at around NVQ3/ONC level who can show competence and experience and commitment to professional standards can apply to be registered as an EngTech.

Use the links on the left to find out more, and about how to apply to register as an EngTech.
