The Annual Semta Skills Awards celebrate the Best of British engineering. They showcase talented individuals, inspiring businesses, skills and diversity from across the advanced manufacturing and engineering sector. Nominations for the 2017 awards will close at midnight on Wednesday 30 November 2016.

Award categories include the Technician of the Year Award, which recognises the vital role that technicians play in the success of engineering in the UK. Judges will look for evidence of a high level of achievement and commitment in their work. Nominees will also be assessed on the impact they have had on the business in which they work, or that of a client.
