UK engineering businesses will be exhibiting and meeting students who are looking to develop their career through Apprenticeships at the 2017 Apprentice Engineer Show. The Show, on 25 October at the Derby Roundhouse, Derby, will run alongside The Graduate Engineer Show, which is in its fifth year. Tickets are free and the event will run from 10.30am until 4pm.

Approximately 1,400 engineering students attended the 2016 event to meet with employers that are looking for emerging engineering talent. The event organisers are also actively trying to increase the number of female students that attend, working in collaboration with The Women’s Engineering Society (WES). The proportion has increased each year, with women representing 28% of attendees in 2016.
