Implementing UK-SPEC

A number of workshops and seminars have been arranged to ensure that the very many volunteers involved in institutions at ECUK in implementing and interpreting UK-SPEC are fully briefed on current issues, including in particular the use of the Technical Report.   Seminars and workshops are also being extended to staff members and the programme will continue over the coming months.   Details of the programme are as follows:

September - 3 identical sessions.   65 in all including 2 of the 3 Board members invited

Technical Report Option - Implementation
6 seminars between 16 Sept and 1 Dec
Approx. 15 each, mainly members
3 complete, 3 to go
Ensuring maintenance and consistency of standards

Institution Staff Workshop - Registration/Accreditation & general ECUK awareness
2 completed, 2 planned before the end of the year
Involving 30 staff in all
All Group B/C Institutions have been invited
We will run them whenever required
Improves efficiency of Institution/ECUK interface
