The Engineering Council Examination has
provided one means of meeting the academic requirements for
professional qualification as a Chartered Engineer. It has
been administered by City and Guilds since 2001.
The Engineering Council and City and Guilds have recently issued
a joint statement announcing the cessation of the Examination after
2011.
