This Engineering Council UK Standard explains the value of becoming recognised as a Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer. It describes the requirements that have to be met for registration, and gives examples of ways of doing this. The standard should enable individuals and employers to find out whether they or their staff can meet the requirements, and explains the steps necessary to achieve national registration.
