Under its Royal Charter, Engineering Council UK grants licences to engineering institutions allowing them to assess candidates for inclusion on its Register of professional engineers and technicians, and to accredit academic programmes and professional development schemes.
Professional Affiliates
As a Professional Affiliate of ECUK an organisation can participate in the development of the engineering profession through opportunities to network with other like-minded bodies and by access to information on major issues which affect engineering and the engineering profession.
